Frequently Asked Questions

What is the purpose of this website, FamilyLegacy.org?

Our purpose is to share as much as we can about our ancestors. The goal is to place on this site as many pictures, histories, documents, and more about our relatives as possible. If you have any questions about obtaining or sharing information, please contact us. Thanks for coming!

How do I navigate FamilyLegacy.org?

We've worked very hard to make the navigation of this site as efficient as possible. There is a search bar at the top of every page that enables you to search the entire site. The main category of pages are the family pages. These pages list pedigrees of different ancestors and include clickable links to each person for which we have more information. From the family page you get to the person pages on which are located information about a spouse, children, parents, birth, marriage, and death information. Also on these pages can be histories, documents, pictures, and much more.

How do I know if I have any relatives on this site?

The easiest way is to search the site and see what you can find. The site has hundreds of people and this is the easiest way. Many relatives may not be added to the site yet. So even if you can't find them, feel free to contact us with questions.

I've found wrong information on your website, how do I correct it?

We are determined to make this site as accurate as possible. For any correction or additions, please contact us and we will try our best to fulfill your request.

I have more information than what is presented on this site, what should I do?

This entire site is built upon pictures, histories, and information that others have donated. Please contact us and let us know what you'd like to share.
